Whatever your ability, age or goal, whether you want to lose weight, tone up, improve your health or train for a specific sport our qualified staff are here to tailor and design a programme specific to your needs. This detailed and comprehensive programme, delivered over four visits, will help you achieve your goals and get results. Our recently extended and refurbished air-conditioned fitness suite is equipped with Smart Card technology. This fantastic new techology allows your instructor to set your programme on a credit card sized membership card. This card when inserted into our fitness equipment instantly brings up your workout plan making it easier for you to achieve your goals. With this technology you are able to review your own progress including calories burnt, distance travelled and weight lifted.
Along with the Smart Card we've made it so easy for you to get started and stick with it.
Here's how:
Visit One (1 hour)
During your first visit you will spend time with an instructor going through your aims and objectives. Together you will design a personalised programme that is fun, effective and above all achieves your goals. A series of health checks are also included in this visit, where required, including Blood Pressure, Body Fat, and Heart Rate. You will also have the opportunity to use the latest in cardiovascular equipment. Your instructor will also take you through a stretch and cool down routine.
Visit Two (1 hour)
During this visit you will be shown how to use the resistance equipment and floor exercises. Your instructor will ensure you are confident in using this equipment giving you advice on safety and good technique.
Visit Three (1 hour)
Your instructor will be on hand to help you through your first workout. They will lend support, advice and assistance when required.
Visit Four (30 mins) 4 Weeks Later
This is your opportunity to review with your instructor how you feel you have progressed with your programme and together you will make the necessary adjustments to ensure you keep achieving results. Your instructor will also go through a number of core exercises to help strengthen your stomach and back.
Programme Reviews (1 hour)
It doesn't stop there! Research has shown that if you continue to change your programme you will have more success and ultimately achieve better results. Your instructor will therefore make sure that your programme is reviewed every eight weeks ensuring that you keep on track. During this review your instructor will evaluate and plot your progress so you can see how much you have improved. Blood Pressure, Body Fat and Heart Rate function will also be re-tested, where required, and compared to your initial readings. MemberPlus members will receive this review free of charge.
Please note the following:
- Please come appropriately dressed in trainers and loose clothes
- For accurate body fat readings it is recommended that you do not eat or drink at least 1 hour prior to test
- No exercise 12 hours prior to test
- No Alcohol or caffeine consumption 24 hours prior to test

- We ask that members leave their bags in the lockers provided in the changing rooms
