Based at Writhlington School, Writhlington Sports and Leisure is a community based facility providing a diverse range of Sports and Leisure activities for local people. The facilities offer both individuals and families the ultimate leisure experience including a fully air conditioned fitness suite, softplay activity centre, workout classes, badminton, tennis, gymnastics, trampoline, cricket, football and a climbing wall, as well as specific fitness sessions for children. A range of learning courses are also available and are designed to encourage learners of all ages and abilities to explore new interests and skills. There are courses to improve IT skills, creative arts and crafts, astronomy and languages. Courses are offered at flexible times and are delivered at Writhlington Sports and Leisure. Our tutors are friendly, approachable and dedicated to creating a relaxed atmosphere which promotes enjoyable learning.

Court bookings are available weekday evenings from 5.00pm - 10.00pm and 9.00am - 6.00pm Saturday and Sunday. All other facilities are available during opening hours.
There is an extensive sports development programme providing courses in Cricket, Tennis, Football, Climbing, Trampoline and Gymnastics. Writhlington Sports Centre is also the designated centre of Excellence for Cricket within Bath and North East Somerset.
